We just worked our way through traffic to the home of our gracious hosts, and in a while we’ll head out to the Hotel Cafe. We’ve spent the past nine days driving toward this southernmost show of the tour, and we’re both very excited. The show doesn’t start until midnight, so there is still plenty of time to make plans to come hang out with us, and to tell all of your family and friends in the LA area. Please help us make this a great night!

TONIGHT at midnight
As children of the 80s and 90s, both of us have watched our fair share of episodes of “Full House.” So, when it dawned on us that we were in the neighborhood of Danny, Deej, Stephanie, Michelle, Uncle Jesse, and Uncle Joey (and don’t forget Kimmy across the street), we just had to re-live a few moments from this show that was so formative in our youth.
We’re on our way to Bend. During our stay at his family’s house outside of Portland, our friend Sam pointed out a small cafe just down the road that is featured in the movie Twilight. Neither of us have seen the movie, nor have we read the books, but a lot of people seem to like them. So we’re trying to cash in on that. Here’s a picture of the cafe, for all of you who love vampires and a great breakfast.
Also, we’re playing tonight at Silver Moon Brewing in Bend, OR, opening for the Montana Slim String Band. If you know anyone in Bend, would you mind passing on the word? We go on at 8pm.
We woke up this morning to find the Clackamas River outside our windows. Our friend Sam’s family is putting us up just outside of Portland. It’s beautiful here, and we like it so much we’re going to stay another day. For those of you who missed last night’s show (and for those of you who were there, too), we’re giving an encore performance at Muddy Waters Coffee House in Portland. Hope to see you there:
